Misfits Boxing 8: Winning Duo Clashes Post-Victory

Misfits Boxing 8 was riddled with the unusual, even by its own standards.

The event, broadcast live two nights ago, reflected poorly on the promotion. The MF & DAZN: X Series 008 was plagued by last-minute cancellations and opponent swaps, some of which took place during the live show itself.

The on-ring performances did not compensate for the organizational chaos. Following UFC veteran Alan Belcher's convincing win over a seemingly unprepared Chase DeMoor, attention turned to a tag-team boxing match featuring Deen The Great and Walid Sharks versus Yuddy Gang TV and Ayye Pap.

Deen The Great, the reigning MF's lightweight champion, known for the incident of being pelted with hot dogs earlier in the week, was the only originally scheduled participant in the fight. After his initial tag-team partner dropped out, Walid Sharks filled in.

Deen and Sharks have a history, having faced off at MF & DAZN: X Series 003 last September, where Deen edged out a narrow victory. Their rivalry has persisted since then, with a skirmish even breaking out during the pre-fight press conference.

Given their relatively superior boxing skills, the duo clinched the tag-team match effortlessly. But the drama unfolded post-victory.

Immediately after the fight, the victorious pair turned against each other. This was followed by an attempted joint interview that descended into juvenile insults and further fighting between the two. This suggests a potential rematch is on the cards, possibly as part of the KSI vs. Tommy Fury undercard.
